I am passionate about creating art such as drawing, animation, and various other forms of creation. Since I struggled with speaking and forming sentences growing up, I have always been captivated by the power of art to evoke emotions and communicate. I believe that art is boundless but also oppressed in many ways, and it is up to the people to push back against this oppression in countless forms of art and make impacts in our daily lives such as design, cooking, and architecture, and I hope to contribute by continuing to create

I am passionate about creating art such as drawing, animation, and various other forms of creation. Since I struggled with speaking and forming sentences growing up, I have always been captivated by the power of art to evoke emotions and communicate.I believe that although art is boundless, it is also oppressed in many ways. It is up to all people to push back against this force by creating countless forms of art themselves that will impact our daily lives such as design, cooking, and architecture, and I hope to contribute towards this cause.
 

At Youth College International, I studied BTEC modules focused on a variety of design skills such as drawing from observation, graphic design and product production. I studied IGCSE in English, Chinese, and Maths. In addition, I have received “Top in the World” award from Cambridge for gaining the highest standard mark of 100(A*) in English. I feel that my time there has given me foundational skills that can be further polished in my future.

 

Aside from my academic artistic pursuits, I also participated in volunteer work such as Drawing demonstrations in VTC Skills Fiesta, Making key visuals for the ‘Graham Market - Old Bazaars, New Tales’ event, and Working in a booth in Youth College Open Day
